Apadrina a WTF: Wichita, KS, USA

Hey all!

We're WTF Wichita, Kansas’s first and only We The Free chapter!

Our goal is to run regular monthly outreach events alongside monthly social events, creating opportunities not only to educate the public but also to strengthen our local vegan community. We believe that community fuels advocacy. The stronger and more connected we are, the stronger our voice becomes for the animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Here in Wichita, many vegans care deeply about animals but often feel isolated, each existing in their own bubble in a predominantly meat-eating world. By bringing people together under shared values of compassion and justice, we can amplify our impact and create lasting change. We don't have to face these challenges alone, we can build something stronger together. Your support helps us create that foundation.

Your contributions directly help us maintain and grow our advocacy efforts, community gatherings, and outreach events throughout Wichita.
Our Work

We run the 3 Minute Movie Challenge in the centre of Wichita, KS, offering members of the public a plant-based snack in exchange for watching a powerful three-minute video about our relationship with animals. Afterwards, our outreach volunteers engage participants in thoughtful conversations that encourage reflection and inspire meaningful behaviour change.

Every year, we expect to have thousands of these conversations, but reaching people consistently requires funding.

Your donations also help us invest in outreach equipment, educational materials, and community events that keep activists connected, supported, and motivated while reducing burnout.

💚 Why We Need Your Help

As a grassroots community of animal advocates, WTF Wichita KS relies on the generosity of supporters like you to maximise our impact.

By donating, you're not only supporting today's outreach efforts—you’re helping build a self-sustaining, resilient animal-rights movement in Wichita and across Kansas.

Even better, generous supporters have offered to match every dollar donated, up to $1,500, meaning your gift can have double the impact for animals.

🚀 Looking Ahead

Your generosity allows us to think bigger, expand our outreach, and continue building a thriving local community that supports and sustains animal advocacy.

Even if you can't join us on the streets, your donation amplifies our efforts and helps create a kinder future for animals. If you'd like your contribution to support a specific project or initiative, we're happy to accommodate where possible.

We are committed to using every donation responsibly and transparently. Funds are carefully managed to advance our mission, and we will gladly share updates with donors and provide additional information about how contributions have been used upon request.
