Ewan 100k Run Fitness Fundraiser
🏃♀️💚 I'm taking on my first-ever fitness challenge! 💚🏃♀️
Over the next 30 days, I'll be running 100km to raise funds for We The Free.
Now, anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm definitely not a natural runner, so this is going to be a real challenge! 😅
I'm doing this to support We The Free, an animal rights street outreach organisation dedicated to starting conversations about one of the biggest ethical blind spots in our society: our relationship with animals. 🐷🐮🐔🐟
I believe the idea that animals exist for human use is something we should all be willing to question. We The Free encourages people to reflect on whether our actions align with the values of justice, compassion, and respect that many of us already hold. 🌱
I genuinely believe that future generations will look back on animal exploitation as something we should have left behind. I also believe we're capable of doing better right now and creating a more just relationship with other animals. ❤️
📢 On August 1st we'll be hosting Solidarity Day in Birmingham.
By hiring a 28-foot truck screen for a six-hour outreach event, we'll have the opportunity to reach well over 1,000 people and inspire meaningful conversations about animals and veganism.
🌱 Every conversation has the potential to plant a seed.
🌱 Every person who chooses veganism can help spare animals from exploitation.
🌱 Every donation helps make those conversations happen.
So for the next month, I'll be putting my legs through absolute hell 😭🏃♀️ in the hope of helping create a kinder world for animals.

200 plus street outreach teams hosted around 1,300 events and 30,000 in person conversations

We delivered free training to 4,500 volunteers

- We are building long term, grassroots power for animals through outreach, training, and systems that help activists start and sustain teams in their communities.
- Monthly support is especially valuable because it allows us to plan ahead, invest in growth, and respond quickly to opportunities.
