Welcome to WTF: Cambridge's fundraising page!

Founded in September 2023, WTF Cambridge is a growing community of people who believe animals deserve better. We come from different backgrounds, professions and age groups, but we share one common purpose: speaking up for animals through compassionate public outreach.

At least once a month you'll find us in Cambridge city centre running the 3 Minute Movie Challenge. We invite members of the public to watch a short, thought-provoking film in exchange for a plant-based snack, before having open, respectful conversations about our relationship with animals. These conversations encourage people to reflect on their own values and inspire lasting change.

Beyond outreach, we also organise social events and community gatherings throughout the year. These spaces are just as important. They allow activists to build friendships, support one another, and stay motivated for the long term while helping prevent burnout.

Why We're Fundraising

Everything we do is powered by volunteers, but effective outreach still requires resources. Your support helps us continue reaching people with open hearts and minds while ensuring our events are as impactful and welcoming as possible.

Funds raised will help us:

Maintain and improve our outreach equipment and materials.
Cover the running costs of our monthly outreach events.
Support community gatherings that strengthen and retain local activists.
Expand our reach so we can inspire even more people to choose compassion.

Thanks to an incredibly generous matching donor, every dollar donated will be doubled up to $1,500.
