We The Free Essex is a passionate vegan animal rights group dedicated to activism on the streets of our city and surrounding areas. We’re Dan and Stuart, the local organizers in Essex. Despite our busy lives, we dedicate a lot of time and energy to ensuring that animals have a voice in our corner of the UK. 💪✊

We would love your support as we speak up for the animals. Not everyone can stand on the streets for hours, travel, face confrontation, or be out in the cold and rain, and that’s okay. Animal rights movements don’t grow because of one role; they grow because people support each other in different ways. Monthly donations are a way to stand alongside activists who are out there holding signs, having difficult conversations, and giving animals a voice. You’re part of the same effort, just contributing from a different place.

If you are able to become a monthly donor to our team, whether it is $20, $10, or $1, it will be one less thing we have to worry about. Speaking up for animals can be costly when you consider the amount of equipment needed. We also need to fund the vegan prizes that we regularly give away during our outreach events after someone has watched footage.

🔍 Transparency and Accountability

We’re committed to being fully transparent. All funds are carefully managed in a Google spreadsheet and go directly toward our advocacy. We will share updates with donors by email and, upon request, about how our team has used the funds raised. 📊

While We The Free uses dollars on this page, we will receive the funds in our local currency, and We The Free will be charged only a fraction of what we would pay if we used other platforms such as GoFundMe or Patreon to receive donations.
