Support Merita and Arron's Climbing Challenge 💚🧗‍♂️

🧗‍♀️💚 We're taking on a massive climbing challenge for the animals and to fund Solidarity Day! 

From today until August 1st, Arron and I (Mery) are hitting the climbing walls every single day. Why? Because we unfortunately had to cancel our original Birmingham fundraising event, this climbing challenge is now our vital lifeline to raise the critical funds needed to make Solidarity Day happen.

💪🧗‍♀️ Our goal: To climb a combined total of 1,000 meters! I will be attempting to climb every single day, aiming for about 85 meters daily, and Arron will be joining forces with me over the weekend to help smash our final target. This is going to be a massive physical test, but the urgency makes it worth every ounce of effort.

📢 Why your help is so urgent today: On August 1st, we will be hosting Solidarity Day in Birmingham the global flagship street outreach event for the animal rights organisation We The Free (WTF). This year, we are launching an incredibly high-impact action: hiring a 28-foot truck with a massive screen for a six-hour outreach event. We will reach well over 1,000 people, using wireless headsets to inspire meaningful, deep conversations about veganism and animal justice.

However, for this event to actually take place, we must cover immediate logistical costs. Every single donation goes directly toward paying for:
🚚 The truck rental and the giant 28-foot screen.
📜 The council permit required to host the event in Birmingham's public space.
🌱 Food for the volunteer outreach team
🎁 Prizes for the participants and other essential event day logistics.

We The Free is dedicated to starting conversations about our relationship with animals and helping people align their actions with values of justice and compassion. But powerful street activism requires real resources. Without the truck, without the city permits, and without food for our team, we cannot plant those thousands of seeds of change.

🧗‍♀️💚 ¡Vamos a hacer un reto enorme de escalada por los animales para financiar el Solidarity Day en Birmingham! 

Desde hoy hasta el próximo 1 de agosto, Arron y yo (Mery) vamos a darlo todo en los rocódromos escalando cada día. ¿El motivo? Debido a que lamentablemente hemos tenido que cancelar nuestro evento de recaudación de fondos planificado en Birmingham, esta campaña de escalada es ahora nuestra única vía para conseguir los fondos que todavía faltan para hacer posible el Solidarity Day.

💪🧗‍♀️ Nuestro objetivo: ¡Escalar un total de 1,000 metros entre los dos! Yo intentaré escalar a diario unos 85 metros, y Arron se unirá con todas sus fuerzas el fin de semana para ayudarnos a alcanzar la meta. Es una prueba física extrema, pero la urgencia lo vale!

📢 ¿Por qué es tan urgente tu ayuda hoy? El 1 de agosto celebraremos el Solidarity Day, el evento global insignia de la organización por los derechos de los animales We The Free (WTF). Este año en Birmingham vamos a llevar a cabo una acción de un impacto sin precedentes: alquilaremos un camión con una pantalla gigante de 28 pies durante seis horas para proyectar el emotivo WTF Movie Challenge, conectando con miles de personas mediante auriculares inalámbricos para inspirar conversaciones profundas sobre el veganismo y la justicia animal. Pero, para que podamos llevar a cabo este evento, necesitamos cubrir los costes logísticos necesarios. 

Cada donación se destinará íntegramente a financiar:
🚚 El alquiler del camión con la pantalla gigante.
📜 El permiso del ayuntamiento de Birmingham para ocupar el espacio público.
🌱 La comida para el equipo 
🎁  Los premios para los particpantes y otras cuestiones esenciales de logística de la jornada.

🐷🐮🐔🐟 Tu colaboración es la pieza que falta. We The Free se dedica a desafiar la idea de que los animales existen para el uso humano y a despertar la compasión que la sociedad ya lleva dentro. Pero el activismo en las calles requiere recursos reales. Sin el camión, sin los permisos y sin el sustento para el equipo, no podremos sembrar esas miles de semillas de cambio.
