WTF Sydney is one of the most active teams in the world’s fastest-growing animal rights and vegan advocacy organisation. But really — we’re just a group of everyday people volunteering our time to try to create a better world for animals and we need your help. 💪✊

🐾 Our Work

We specialise in innovative and impactful street advocacy events called The 3 Minute Movie Challenge. We offer members of the public a plant-based snack in exchange for watching a powerful 3-minute video about our broken relationship with animals. Afterwards, our experienced outreachers engage individuals in long-form conversations, aiming to help them explore their own values and inspire meaningful behaviour change.

Since starting in January 2023, we’ve run well over 100 outreach events and numerous community and social gatherings. In that time, we’ve engaged with thousands of individuals — helping them understand the truth about animal exploitation and empowering them to live vegan.

Here’s what your contribution can help us work toward (amounts in AUD):

💙 $250 would allow us to purchase 3 VR headsets to drastically increase the appeal and immersion of our events.

💙 $750 would allow us, along with the previous goal, to fund our critical equipment storage unit for the rest of 2025.

💙 $2,000 would allow us, along with the previous goals, to fund all prizes for our weekly events for the rest of 2025.

💙 $3,000 would allow us, along with the previous goals, to branch out into ambitious stretch goals never before possible for our team, such as:

• Professional training and workshop events for volunteers and the community
• Regular outreach and recruitment stalls at the Sydney Vegan Markets
• Boosted Facebook and Instagram recruitment posts
