We're WTF Wichita, Kansas’s first and only We The Free chapter! 

Our goal is to run regular monthly outreach events alongside monthly social events, creating opportunities not only to educate the public but also to strengthen our local vegan community. We believe that community fuels advocacy. The stronger and more connected we are, the stronger our voice becomes for the animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Here in Wichita, many vegans care deeply about animals but often feel isolated, each existing in their own bubble in a predominantly meat-eating world. By bringing people together under shared values of compassion and justice, we can amplify our impact and create lasting change. We don't have to face these challenges alone, we can build something stronger together. Your support helps us create that foundation.

Our Work

We run the 3 Minute Movie Challenge in the centre of Wichita, KS, offering members of the public a plant-based snack in exchange for watching a powerful three-minute video about our relationship with animals. Afterwards, our outreach volunteers engage participants in thoughtful conversations that encourage reflection and inspire meaningful behaviour change.

Every year, we expect to have thousands of these conversations, but reaching people consistently requires funding.

Your donations also help us invest in outreach equipment, educational materials, and community events that keep activists connected, supported, and motivated while reducing burnout.
