🫶✌️We're on a mission to help animals and we need your help!

We The Free Calgary team has been operating since fall 2021. We run high-impact outreach events built on the creativity, cheerfulness, and resolve of our volunteers. Unfortunately, the animal rights movement globally is more often than not, criminally underfunded and WTF Calgary is no exception. Much of our work has been self-funded by the activists themselves. But our ambitions are growing. We’re ready to scale up with more events, better equipment, and a broader reach. To do that, we need your help speaking up for animals.

We The Free tackles the root cause of animal exploitation: the insidious power of social conditioning that renders the personality, emotions, and suffering of animals on farms, in slaughterhouses, laboratories, and zoos invisible. Through powerful visuals and honest, respectful conversations, we help the public reconnect with their values by recognizing non-human animals as individuals whose plight matters and who we can stand up for by living vegan."

It can be can be costly when taking into consideration the amount of equipment needed for this activism. Luckily, some generous donors have offered to TRIPLE every dollar we raise—up to $500! This means your contribution can have TRIPLE the impact for animals who desperately need us. ❤️🐷

⏳ Every dollar you donate to WTF: Calgary will be tripled. So if you donate $10, $30 will go to help animals. Of that $30, $20 goes to the Calgary team, and $10 helps WTF start and support more teams.

With your support, we can continue our mission of educating the public and advocating for animals. Together, we can grow our movement, equip new teams, and ensure animals’ voices are heard.

Here’s how your contribution can help:
💚 $10 funds 15 vegan food prizes to inspire participation in our outreach events.
💚 $50 rents a table at a vegan market to recruit volunteers and raise awareness.
💚 $100 purchases around 150 food prizes, roughly enough for our next 5 events.
💚 $200 buys a long-lasting battery and charger to power event screens.
💚 $500 can purchase essential equipment that our team needs to upgrade our setup and outreach more people per event.
💚 $1000 is enough to upgrade our equipment, purchase new banners and materials, and fund food prizes for the next 3 months.

🚨There is no conversion fee for donations and all funds raised enter a British bank account with no additional charge.🚨
