Donations to WTF: Edmonton Alberta are now being TRIPLED!

This summer and fall, we're excited to host several fundraising events with the aim of improving our outreach set up and ensuring that Edmonton WTF has enough funds to support our upcoming 3 Minute Movie Challenges for the foreseeable future! here are some of our events that you can get involved with🐷:

🎨 Redpepper Painting Fundraiser (September) — A cozy, creative evening with 25 participants painting and raising funds for local vegan activism.

🌱 VegFest Edmonton (August 30)  At VegFest Edmonton, we’ll have our own booth featuring local vegan art and outreach materials. We’ll be accepting donations and raising funds for Edmonton Vegan Activists while engaging the community. A QR code will be available for easy donations to We The Free

🛍️ Cinnamon Princess Booth Fundraisers (Across the summer) We will be supporting six community events, with all proceeds going to Edmonton Vegan Activists and shared between We The Free and the Vegans and Vegetarians of Alberta.

We need your help! Speaking up for animals can be costly when taking into consideration the amount of equipment needed. We regularly give away vegan prizes after speaking with the public which we also need to fund. Luckily, some generous donors have offered to TRIPLE every dollar we raise—up to $500! This means your contribution can have TRIPLE the impact for animals who desperately need us. ❤️🐷

🐾 Make TRIPLE the Impact

⏳ From now until March 2025, every dollar you donate to WTF: Edmonton will be tripled. So if you donate $10, $30 will go to help animals. Of that $30, $20 goes to the Edmonton team, and $10 helps WTF start and support more teams.

With your support, we can continue our mission of educating the public and advocating for animals. Together, we can grow our movement, equip new teams, and ensure animals’ voices are heard.

Our goal is to reinvest the fund that we raise directly into strengthening our outreach capacity. Some of the key items we hope to purchase include:

💚T-shirts for new activists to help create a unified and approachable presence at our events!

💚Signage for our conversation tables, to better engage the public.

💚Sun protectors for our screens, ensuring the footage remains visible during daytime outreach.

💚A third TV screen to accommodate more viewers, as well as small portable tables to expand our conversation setup.

💚Prize giveaways to incentivise people participating in our events
