Nathe Perrone
Regional Support Lead: The Americas
Nathe is a passionate animal advocate and an experienced leader in grassroots organizing. Serving as the Regional Support Lead for the Americas at We The Free since February 2026, they play a crucial role in building resilient, safe, and inclusive communities across the region. They strive to support activists and foster a collaborative environment where every volunteer feels valued and empowered.
As a vegan for a decade and an activist for five years, Nathe possesses a deep understanding of the animal rights movement. This dedication led them to co-found a non profit organization focused on political lobbying, investigations, and public education. To date, they have organized over 200 events in Montreal and successfully facilitated the launch and training of new We The Free teams across continents.
Nathe's strong relational leadership is backed by their professional experience as a street outreach worker. Accustomed to crisis intervention, navigating social landscapes, and providing individualized support, they excel in conflict resolution and nonviolent communication. Furthermore, their ability to communicate fluently in English and French, alongside Italian and Spanish, allows them to engage diverse groups and connect marginalized communities to the wider movement.
With a unique blend of community organizing expertise, on-the-ground experience, and an unwavering commitment to intersectional advocacy, Nathe is a dedicated force driving the animal rights movement toward a more just future.
Interests
I dream of a world where everyone is welcomed as equals, both humans and animals, a world where our differences are what unite us. I feel that We The Free sticks to this core principle, perfectly matching my deeply held personal beliefs with my professional goals.
