🐷🌱 VOLUNTEER DAY AT PEAR TREE FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY 🌱🐴

Fancy spending your Saturday doing something wonderful for animals?

Come and join us at Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary for a special volunteer day helping us look after our rescued residents and keep the sanctuary running.

Our sanctuary is home to more than 80 rescued animals, including pigs, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats and more. There is always plenty to do, and volunteer days are a brilliant way to get involved and see what goes on behind the scenes. 💚

🧤 WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

The jobs will depend on what needs doing on the day, but could include:

🌿 General maintenance around the sanctuary

🧹 Cleaning and tidying animal areas

🌱 Gardening and grounds work

🪵 Fencing and repairs

🐴 Helping with jobs around the animal areas

🧽 General sanctuary jobs

💚 Plenty of other odd jobs that help keep things running!

You don't need to be an animal expert or have previous volunteering experience. Just bring yourself, some enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!

📍 Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary, Yarley, Somerset

We'll provide more information about timings, what to bring and what to expect when you sign up.

👢 WHAT TO BRING

Please come prepared for a day outdoors and potentially muddy!

👢 Sturdy/wellington boots

🧤 Gardening/work gloves if you have them

👖 Clothes you don't mind getting dirty

🌦️ Weather-appropriate clothing

💧 A reusable water bottle

🥪 Your own lunch and snacks

Every pair of hands makes a difference. The work our volunteers do helps us give our rescued animals the safe, happy and comfortable lives they deserve.
