Biography

Shova is a passionate animal rights advocate based in Kathmandu, Nepal, and has been active in the movement since 2020. As a licensed advocate, she’s deeply committed to using her legal background, grassroots organizing, and community-building efforts to create change for animals, both in Nepal and beyond.

She currently serves as the Regional Support Lead for We The Free (WTF) Asia, where she helps onboard and support new organizers across the region. She also organizes locally with WTF in Kathmandu. When she’s not doing advocacy work, Shova loves trying out new vegan food spots and visiting animal sanctuaries whenever she can.
