✊ Solidarity Day: Stockholm 2026 ✊

Solidarity Day aims to create a nationwide network of activists joining forces on the first weekend of August each year. This collective day of action serves as a powerful platform to raise awareness about animal exploitation and advocate for veganism. By participating, you are contributing to what could be the largest animal advocacy event of the year!

For our gathering, we are pushing the boundaries of outreach with an epic 8-hour Midnight Sun Marathon Outreach. We will kick off with the highly effective 3-Minute Movie Challenge, followed by an evening of mobile street outreach through the city centre until midnight.

What We Are Doing

🎬 Part 1: The 3-Minute Movie Challenge (3MMC) [16:00–18:00] Members of the public are invited to watch a short, powerful film that reveals standard industry practices behind animal agriculture in just three minutes. In return, they receive a free vegan treat! It’s an incredibly effective and engaging way to grab attention and spark meaningful conversations about animal rights. During the conversations, outreachers will share a personal code linking tohttps://www.3movies.wtf, where people can further explore films, tools, and challenges to inspire lasting change.

🎤 Part 2: Walking Street Interviews [18:00–00:00] As the evening progresses, we will transition to a simpler, mobile outreach format. Leaving the laptops and tables behind, we will walk through the city centre with a microphone, conducting street interviews. We will ask members of the public a fixed, thought-provoking question about animal exploitation. Note: This portion of the event is split into three 2-hour shifts. While the core team is already mostly in place, all activists are welcome and encouraged to join in!

📍 Event Info

• Time: 16:00–00:00 (8 hours total)
• Location: We will begin at Stortorget in Gamla Stan (Old Town) for Part 1. Part 2 will start from there and continue through the city centre (exact route to be decided on the day).
• Materials: No need to bring anything! All screens and vegan treats for Part 1, as well as the microphone for Part 2, will be provided. Just show up!
• Dress Code: Please avoid wearing animal-derived clothing or vegan slogans to preserve the element of surprise for the public.
