WTF Organizer Nomination Contest
Wouldn’t it be great to know that you are personally responsible for starting new activism teams in cities and suburbs where there weren’t any before? How cool would it be if you could also win activist gear for yourself and your teams just by nominating a friend?
We know street outreach through WTF Diamonds is a particularly effective way to accomplish three things:
Create an opportunity to “activate” vegans who have never participated in activism before.
Expose standard practices of animal exploitative industries to the public: standard practices they would consider cruel and misaligned with their values.
Share support and resources with vegan-curious members of the community.

So let’s engage with our vast network of vegans to share this meaningful form of activism! We The Free is excited to facilitate an organizer nomination contest. We invite you to nominate a vegan who you think would make a great organizer to start a team in their own city, town, burrough, or neighbourhood.

To encourage participation, we’re offering some fantastic prizes!
1st Place - 1 x VR Headset for nominator’s local team or a team of their choice, 2 x WTF Hoodie (1 for nominator, 1 for nominee)
2nd Place - 2 x WTF branded hoodie (1 for nominator, 1 for nominee)
3rd Place - 2 x WTF branded t-shirt (1 for nominator, 1 for nominee)

Contest Rules
Nominees must successfully create a new team, organize one event, and have one future event scheduled to count as an eligible competition entry.
The contest will run from now until September 1st, 2022.
Winners will be announced by October 1st, 2022.
Each successful nomination results in one contest entry for both nominator and nominee.
The winners will be randomly drawn from a pool of all the successful nominees and nominators.
Areas where a vegan street activism team already exists will not count as an entry - as the purpose of this competition is to bring activism to new areas!
This giveaway contest is organized by We The Free C.I.C., a registered non-profit in the United Kingdom.
The prizes have the following value:
VR headset - GBP £250
WTF Hoodie -GBP £26.50
WTF T-shirt - GBP £16
Total cash value of all prizes: GBP £388
The VR headset prize for 1st place will be presented to the winner’s local WTF volunteer team or a WTF team of their choice, for the purpose of being used in WTF demonstrations by that team.
We reserve the right to discretionarily allow the VR headset to be exchanged for another piece of equipment up to the same value if the winning WTF team either already has a VR headset or is in need of other equipment.

We will cover postage and packaging fees and applicable import duties up to the following total combined value:
