Our Story

We The Free is an ongoing labour of love and was built over the span of approximately twelve months with input from over 1,100 animal rights activists. Through the Animal Rights Activist Survey, the global community shared what it needed to better help animals, and so we built it. We The Free team members and volunteers include experienced animal rights activists with different professional skills who support activists from around the world.

Our community is founded on deeply rooted values, robust data and analytics tools, a desire to serve and support others, and a passion for innovation and design. We welcome anyone who wishes to defend animals and shares our values of kindness, fairness, nonviolence, and respect toward others.
