Este sábado 20 de septiembre, nos unimos para reivindicar los derechos de los animales participando en Misión Abolición, la manifestación antitaurina organizada por PACMA. Aquí va el plan:

🕑 Agenda

1. Comida en Shishang Nos juntamos a comer para coger fuerzas y cargar energía. Será un momento para encontrarnos, compartir, animarnos mutuamente antes de las acciones del resto del día.
2. Taller de pancartas Tras la comida, haremos un taller para crear pancartas con mensajes antiespecistas. Queremos que estén listas para alzar nuestra voz en el bloque antiespecista durante la manifestación. Trae cartones, cartulinas… nosotras pondremos rotuladores, témperas, pinceles, etc.
3. Manifestación “Misión Abolición” A las 17:30 h nos reunimos en la Puerta del Sol de Madrid para unirnos a la manifestación convocada por PACMA, creando un bloque antiespecista. “Misión Abolición” es la manifestación antitaurina más importante del año, en la que miles de personas se movilizan para exigir la abolición de la tauromaquia.

💬 La importancia del bloque antiespecista

El bloque antiespecista es fundamental en este tipo de manifestaciones: no solo alzamos la voz contra la tauromaquia, sino contra todas las formas de explotación animal. Queremos recordar que la lucha no termina en los ruedos: también los animales usados en granjas, mataderos, laboratorios o industrias del entretenimiento merecen nuestra defensa y nuestra solidaridad.

En estas movilizaciones encontramos muchas personas sensibilizadas con el sufrimiento de los toros, pero que a menudo viven una disonancia cognitiva al seguir participando en el consumo y explotación de otros animales. El bloque antiespecista es un espacio clave para sembrar reflexión y abrir los ojos, mostrando que la coherencia implica extender la empatía y el respeto hacia todos los animales, sin excepciones.

📍 Detalles prácticos

• Qué traer: cartones/cartulinas para pancartas. El material de pintura (rotuladores, témperas, etc.) lo ponemos nosotras.
• Horario: quedaremos a las 14.00h en el Shishang para comer y continuar con taller, para llegar a la manifestación con tiempo.
• Punto de encuentro para la manifestación: Puerta del Sol, 17:30 h.

This Saturday, September 20th, we come together to stand up for animal rights by taking part in Misión Abolición, the anti-bullfighting demonstration organized by PACMA. Here’s the plan:

🕑 Schedule

Lunch at Shishang We’ll meet for lunch to recharge and gather strength. It’s a chance to connect, share, and motivate each other before the actions later in the day.

Banner-making workshop After lunch, we’ll hold a workshop to create banners with antispeciesist messages. We want them ready to raise our voices in the antispeciesist block during the demonstration. Bring cardboard or poster board—we’ll provide markers, paints, brushes, etc.

“Misión Abolición” Demonstration At 5:30 PM we’ll gather at Puerta del Sol in Madrid to join the demonstration called by PACMA, forming an antispeciesist block. Misión Abolición is the most important anti-bullfighting demonstration of the year, where thousands of people mobilize to demand the abolition of bullfighting.

💬 The importance of the antispeciesist block

The antispeciesist block plays a vital role in these demonstrations: we raise our voices not only against bullfighting, but against all forms of animal exploitation. We want to remind everyone that the struggle does not end in the bullrings—animals used in farms, slaughterhouses, laboratories, and the entertainment industry also deserve our defense and solidarity.

At these mobilizations we meet many people who are moved by the suffering of bulls, but who often experience cognitive dissonance by continuing to participate in the consumption and exploitation of other animals. The antispeciesist block is a key space to plant seeds of reflection and open eyes, showing that coherence means extending empathy and respect to all animals, without exceptions.

📍 Practical details

• What to bring: cardboard/poster board for banners. We’ll provide painting materials (markers, paints, etc.).
• Schedule: we’ll meet at 2:00 PM at Shishang for lunch and the workshop, so we arrive at the demonstration in time.
• Meeting point for the demonstration: Puerta del Sol, 5:30 PM.
